Fathering Fathers is a non-profit organization dedicated to Building Men. Conceived of by the founder and chairman of the board, Michael Sanford in 2010, the organization’s initial focus started by building relationships between fathers and their sons. Today our primary focus is working through our R.E.A.L. MENtor program with middle school boys. The mentor program was started by John (Jake) Milano in 2011 at Tahanto Regional Middle/High School. Today the mentor program has expanded into the Clinton Middle School as well. We offer the R.E.A.L. MENtor program to middle schools throughout the metro west and central mass school districts. Our mission is to Build Men—prepare boys in their teenage years, teaching them the tools that will build a strong sense of self and a tolerance and acceptance for others. We help boys discover their identity and their inner greatness so they can build upon that foundation. We help boys grow into men that will father and mentor future generations.
